Confirmation of Booking


Please complete the confirmation of booking form after the date has been confirmed to be available. Completion of this form will confirm your booking of the Tay Ceilidh Band.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.


1.By completing this Confirmation of Booking, the hirer agrees to the terms and conditions of the Tay Ceilidh Band. ie: Payment terms and performance times.


2.All payments are to be paid in cash or bank transfer 14 days prior to the event.


3.Payments by cheque (where agreed) must be paid 14 days before contract date.


4.The band will arrive for set up 40 minutes before the agreed performance time unless otherwise agreed between both parties.


5.Start times which are delayed as a result of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen traffic congestion will not result in additional time being added to the agreed finishing time. If the start time is delayed through the fault of the band, time will be added to the agreed finishing time if required and allowed by the venue.


6.Delayed start times due to the venue or hirer will not result in time being added to the agreed end time.


7.All reasonable effort to reach the venue by the band will be made. In the event of the band being unable to perform through illness, accident or adverse weather conditions, the hirer will be notified immediately. Where possible the band will attempt to find a suitable replacement.


8.In the event of the hirer cancelling the agreed contract, they will be subject to a cancellation fee, unless otherwise agreed by both parties. Cancellation 6 weeks or less hirer will be liable for 100% of the agreed fee, 6 - 8 weeks, 66% and 8 – 12 weeks, 33%. All cancellations must be in writing and cancellation fees must be paid within 7 days of the band being notified. Any deposits paid are non-returnable and not deducted from cancelation fees due. Deposits must be paid within 14 days of agreeing to the booking.


9.The band’s equipment and instruments are not available for use by any other person’s unless agreed by both parties.


10.The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring a safe power supply and the security of the band and the property of the band at all times during the contract times at the venue.


11.The hirer shall not make or permit the making of any audio and/or visual recording or transmission of the band without prior permission being granted by the band.


12.The band has all electrical equipment tested to British Safety Standards. PAT certificates and public liability certificates are available upon request.


13.This Confirmation of Booking will be accepted when all details have been checked by the band to be correct and a confirmation email/letter will be returned to hirer.
